Our Story
Unlike most multi-family granite/quartz suppliers, we are a truly turn key, custom stone manufacturing facility located in Owensboro, KY. Our roots go deep into residential granite manufacturing with 15 years in our family business at Unique Granite and Marble, one of the area's largest and most cutting edge residential granite manufacturing facilities.
In 2012, we began to expand from the residential sector and bid commercial projects. As we were awarded contracts and work flow increased we began to establish our own commercial team. We opened a larger operating facility and the family business then expanded into it a separate business, Blackbird Manufacturing.
We are on a continuing mission to leave the world better than we found it.
Our Values
We believe in buying American-made quality whenever possible.
Our Robo Saw was manufactured in Detroit, MI., and our Northwood Sawjet and two CNC machines were manufactured in Louisville, KY. With these purchases and others, we've rolled over $930,000 back into the U.S. economy in the last two years alone! What we couldn't buy from US manufacturers, we purchased through U.S. distributors from developed nations such as Germany and Italy. Our vehicles were manufactured in the U.S. as well as our trailers and much of our manufacturing tools and equipment.
